Went to Sydney yesterday to an event organized by the Malaysian society there. There were numerous stalls around selling local food such as ais kachang, ais cendol, tehtarik, nasi ayam hainanese, apam balik, sate, roti canai, keropok lekor, muah chee etc. I had beef rendang, keropok lekor (which i had to wait for about 30 minutes for just to get 10 small pieces) and some of the food that was mentioned earlier. I was hyper and was in food heaven for just a moment. OH! How I miss local food. Can't get enough of it. They had alot of performances on such as the kuda kepang, zapin, silat, bollywood dance and chinese dance. Interesting.
Ramadhan just started today. My Aussie mates were being kind to me. they were like "im sorry about talking about food" but yeah i was totally cool about it. It is not as if I have the label that says, do not talk about food infront of me. Alhamdulillah first day went fine. Had white rice and mutton curry thanks to Asila and Kavi's trip to sydney on the same weekend. Hehe. Had abit before I decided to go to the gym after my maghrib prayers.
Ok...Lets list my things to do for the week:
Tuesday: Work + Research on the stuffs we are going to make+ brief history of Singapore+ get some old malay songs+ some good ol movies
Wednesday: Food Shopping for CAF
Thursday: Food Shopping + Food Prep
Friday: Chem E car, CAF itself
